This piece of art that I created is about my foundation as a preacher's daughter and the song is called "Mighty Fortress is our God." In the original, I collaged 3 dimensional elements like burned paper, flowers, envelopes, and beads into the painting.

At an early age, patterns, color, texture, design and intriguing subject matter became my inspiration and I continue to incorporate all of these elements in my work today.
